Let's be real, for someone who considers themselves an introvert, this is one hell of a start! The sun is out and there are a lot of people in Hyde Park today... let's see if I can focus.
I think our goal is to see how far can we go to create some truly unique working environments, and whether I will be able to be productive. I'm starting here with Hyde Park, but who knows, we might end up filming on the moon.
It's much better than the pattern too many of us find ourselves in, pining for adventure all week and being too tired or busy on weekends to scratch that itch. We're lucky in that we can work remotely. So let's at least share those cool environments with you guys.
We want to provide a bit of escapism for people who aren't able to travel, so they can travel to the Madagascan jungle without even having to leave their desk. Now is a good time to mention I have set up a google form on the website for your brightest and best ideas for us to try out, feel free to fill it out once you've finished here!
Okay the first Pomodoro alarm has gone off, time for a quick break.
I must say, it is a strange feeling being personally present in the white noise environment, rather than having it playing on a different tab on my home PC!
On a personal level - as someone in their late 20's, I wanted to grow and be comfortable doing things I never would have dreamed of being able to do (like going to the moon). Putting myself out there is step one of that journey.
I type this having noticed a few people taking selfies with me in the background, which is a very surreal feeling. Perhaps we will have to get used to being famous!
I think I am going to try and not edit these as much as possible, because the beauty of these unusual work environments is in what they do to creativity. Lets see if that crystallises or just comes across as zany rambles.
Okay some sad news, my phone is almost dead (currently typing this into notes), so thanks for reading this ramble of a first post, I'll see you next time!
DOES WORKING IN HYDE PARK IMPROVE YOUR PRODUCTIVITY??
7/10*
*once you get used to the selfies, it's vibrant, and the background noise comes free!
